Contest for Contractor for Works on Visitors and Research Center Felix Romuliana in Zajecar Published

The German Agency for Cooperation and Development (GIZ) is currently carrying out the project of “EU Incentives through Innovations and Tourism Development”, which is directed at improving tourism and tourist offer in Serbia. The project is jointly financed by the European Union, Germany and GIZ. As part of this project, GIZ wants to select the general contractor for the visitors-research center Felix Romuliana in Zajecar.

The scope of the works encompasses the construction of the Center for Visitors and Researchers whose planned total area is 2,663.33 m2.

The complex consists of four independent pieces of real estate:

– Visitors center (708.03 m2)

– Accommodation space (686.57 m2)

– Research Center (882.89 m2)

– Researchers accommodation space (385.84 m2)

The plan is for the whole procedure, from the selection of the contractor to the signing of the agreement, to last throughout June and July 2022, and the works are planned to last for 15 months.


Eligible contestants are companies that are registered in Serbia, and bids may be sent by May 15, 2022.
