The Securities Commission of the Republic of Serbia has adopted the decision on the issuing of the permit for the organization of the first accompanying UCITS (undertaking for collective investment in transferable securities) fund in Serbia of Raiffeisen Green and its management to the company for the management of open investment funds with a public offer and alternative investment funds Raiffeisen Invest a.d. Beograd.

The assets of the accompanying fund will be invested in the main UCITS fund of Raiffeisen-Nachhaltigkeit-Solide in Vienna, in line with the restrictions of the Law on Open Investment Funds with a Public Offer. The management company has been given a month to file the data to the commission for the registration of the fund in the funds register, the commission announced.

UCITS, an institution of collective investments in transferrable securities, is an open investment fund with a public offer which has as its exclusive goal the collective investment of assets, collected through a public offer of investment units in the fund, in transferrable securities or other liquid financial property. It operates in line with the principle of the diversification of investment risks. Its investment units, at the request of the owners of the units, are bought out, directly or indirectly, from the assets of the open investment fund.
