Only one bid received in the tender for public river transport in Belgrade

Only one company responded to the opening of public procurement bids for the public passenger river transport in Belgrade, carried out in accordance to the public-private partnership model, Goran Vesic, Deputy Mayor of Belgrade, said in a statement reported by Beoinfo.

- Public procurement was announced on December 30 last year. One single offer by the company PD Beoreka d.o.o. has been submitted. - said Vesic.

He advised that the expert commission will review the received documentation upon opening the bids, within the legally prescribed deadline, after which the final evaluation of the bid will be made.

As said before, the tender conditions asked for a partner who will perform public river transport on two lines.

- Plan calls for public river transport to be performed with a total of 10 ships - two ships in the first year, four more in the second, as well as in the third, with one ship in reserve. We shall have a "red" and a "blue" line that will expand in three phases. In the first phase, the "blue" line will go from Blok 70 to Ada Ciganlija, TC "Gallery" and Branko's Bridge, while in the second phase it will start from Blok 45, and in the third phase after Branko's Bridge it will continue to Beton Hall and SC "Milan Gale Muskatirovic "- Vesic said earlier.

According to him, the "red" line will run from Zemun Quay to SC "Milan Gale Muskatirovic" in the first phase.

- In the second phase, it will include Borca - the left bank of the Danube - whereas in the third phase it will reach Ada Huja - he added.
