Serbian Companies at Specialized Food Industry Show Gulfood This Year Too

The Development Agency of Serbia and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia are organizing, for the fifth time in a row, the participation and presentation of Serbian companies at the biggest and most important specialized food industry show in the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf region – Gulfood.

According to the website of the Development Agency of Serbia, the production and exporting capacities will be presented by fifteen Serbian companies: Master Fruits Belgrade, PIK Bečej, Tisa Coop Kanjiža, Cmana Krnjevo, Yumis Niš, Zdravo Organic Selenča, BMN Malinas Požega, ITN Group Belgrade, Budimka Požega, Damar Confit Belgrade, Fruct Company Udovice, Mlekara Šabac, Tropic Trade Belgrade, Mlekara Ub, Mirax Agrar Belgrade.

– The visitors of the Gulfood show, potential business partners, importers and distributors, will be able to get to know the wide range of the best quality Serbian products made of fresh and processed, frozen, pasteurized and preserved fruit and vegetables, dairy products, frozen and smoked fish and sea food, products based on truffles, ajvar, honey, soups, spices, teas, fruit juices and mushy fruit nectars, quality fruit jams and marmalades – it is clarified.


Gulfood is held on 100,000 m2, and it is visited by over 70,000 visitors from around 100 countries each year.

Within the presentations of the business programs, meetings between producers, exporters and distributors and representatives of the leading retail store chains are planned.

– The visitors to the fair are mostly representatives of retail chains and importers, more than a half come from the Middle East, around 20% from Asia, around 10% from Africa, whereas a smaller percentage of the visitors come from Europe and America – it is added.

Serbian companies from the food sector will promote production programs and exporting potentials at one of the main halls of the Trade Center Arena, reserved for national pavilions. This year, 4,000 exhibitors from 120 countries of the world are registered, and, in addition to Serbia, companies from Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, Russia, Austria, Spain, Netherlands, Cyprus, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, USA, Canada, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, India, Egypt and Japan will present themselves.
