Statistical Office: Agricultural Products 20.8% More Expensive Last Year Compared to 2020

Producer prices of agricultural and fishing products in December 2021, compared to the same month of 2020, were increased by 20.8% average, announced the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia. Observed by main groups of products, in period January-December 2021 compared to same period 2020, the biggest impact on the rise in prices was noted in the groups: Fruit (50.3%), Industrial crops (46.1%) and Cereals (26.8%).

Producer prices of agricultural and fishing products in December 2021, compared to the same month of 2020 were increased by 29.1% average.


Observed by main product groups, compared to the same month of the previous year, the biggest impact on the rise in prices was noted in the groups: Cereals (38.7%), Industrial crops (36.6%) and Animals (24.3%).
