The tender for the designing and construction of the first phase of the waste water treatment facility in Krnjaca has been extended until March 14, as announced by the EU Delegation to Serbia in the
changed public invitation.
The tender was published by the Belgrade Land Development Public Agency in November last year, and the initial bid submission deadline was February 22.
The project, as said, aims to upgrade the services of waste water treatment before pouring into the river in the municipalities of Kotez, Krnjaca and Borca.
The facility will involve the process of active sludge with an improved biological removal of phosphorus and sludge treatment including anaerobic digestion, energy recovery and solar drying.
The job is financed by the European Investment Bank, as part of the project of the construction of a sewer system on the left bank of the Danube in the Belgrade municipality of Palilula.
