Wind Farm Worth EUR 500 Million to Be Built in Croatia – “Licki Medved” to Have Installed Power of 425 MW
The project will be worth EUR 500 million, it was announced by the cabinet of the Croatian president, as reported by the Indikator portal.
The planned wind farm will have an installed power of 425 MW and produce 1 TWh of green energy a year, as announced by the cabinet of the Croatian president, Zoran Milanovic, after a meeting with representatives of the Dutch company.
The wind farm “Licki Medved” will be located near Otocac, in the mountain area of Lika. That will be the biggest wind farm under development in an Adriatic country, and the construction of the wind farm will help improve the road network and high-voltage infrastructure in the region.
In addition to new jobs, the wind farm will support local projects for the improvement of economic, social and environmental living conditions in the region with EUR 200,000 each year.
