Parking Lot for 250 Cars Being Prepared Below New Belgrade Railway Station

This month, the company Serbian Railways Infrastructure started the works on the construction of the parking lot which will be located beneath the New Belgrade Railway Station.

According to the project, prepared by CIP, there will be 250 parking spaces in this location. The completion of the development of the parking lot is planned by April, that is, the commissioning of the new railway from Belgrade to Novi Sad.

The space will be managed by the PE Parking Servis and it will function by the Park & Ride system. It can be used without additional payment by citizens who have a Bus Plus subscription card, who own a vehicle and who have registered at the company’s user service, whereas others will pay for the service through text messages. However, there’s also the possibility of the parking lot having a controlled entrance/exit in the future, with parking being charged for through an automatic device.
