Although there has been talk of the full reconstruction of the General Hospital in Subotica for nearly three years now, it is not yet to start, because the project-technical documentation has not been completed. In order for the plan of the reconstruction of the main building and 16 facilities and the yard, amounting to 35,000 m2, to be finally finished and in order for all the flaws in the project to be removed, RSD 50 million is set aside from this year’s city budget.

The reconstruction of the General Hospital in Subotica, which recently celebrated its 180th anniversary, is supposed to be financed by the Office for Public Investments of the Government of Serbia, and, according to estimates, around EUR 40 million should be invested in the works. That’s twice as much as initially estimated in late 2018.
