The Novi Sad-based company Untermolo plans to build the solar power plant Bikovo in Subotica. This is a section of the parcel of the former Azotara plant, between the corridor of the Belgrade-Novi Sad-Subotica railway, the municipal road Subotica-Cantavir and the Ciker waterway, in the farming area of the Bikovo settlement.

The detailed regulation plan, which the City of Subotica has put up for an early public review, covers slightly less than 80 hectares of land, and this is undeveloped land.

The construction of a complex of a solar facility is planned on this location, that is, a facility for the production of electrical energy from solar energy and the inclusion of the produced energy into the transfer system. According to the plan, a facility of the maximum possible installed power is envisaged, of over 50 MW, and its connection to the transfer network.
