Novi Pazar to Get New Clinical and Hospital Center on 32,000 m2 – Investment of Over EUR 70 Million in Facility and Equipment Announced
The project was presented on the occasion of the visit of the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and, according to him, over EUR 70 million will be invested in this project.
– We are building 15,000 new square meters and reconstructing 17,000 existing ones. Our calculation, including the equipment we are investing in, is that this will amount to no less than EUR 70 million. That is truly a huge sum. Taking into account the equipment, it is slightly less than the Clinical Center in Nis – Vucic said and added that this health institution would be a great support for the populace of the Raska District and the populace from Kosovo and Metohija.
Talking about investments in this area, Vucic pointed out that all the effects of investments would become fully apparent only once the highway passes through it.
Also, in addition to the investments, the transfer of budget funds in the amount of RSD 100 million to the budget of the City of Novi Pazar was announced, in order to repay the previous debts toward EPS, which are a great burden.
