City of Belgrade to Invest RSD 4.9 Billion in 33 Kilometers of Regional Makis-Mladenovac Waterworks – Permanent Solution for 7,500 Residents of Grocka

The Belgrade Land Development Public Agency has published the tender for the 6th stage of the works on the construction of the regional waterworks Makis-Mladenovac.

In this phase, according to the tender, the plan is to connect the settlements of Umcari and Pudarci to the regional waterworks, which will permanently solve the problem of supply of drinking water to the local populace.

The plan is to build 33 kilometers of the waterworks in the south part of the City Municipality of Grocka, and the “Mali Popovic” tunnel of 837 meters will also be built within this route. Also, the waterworks will have a special branch which will go towards other settlements in the territory of the municipality of Grocka.


The value of the works on the construction of the regional waterworks is RSD 4.930 billion, and the tender is open to interested participants until February 2, 2022.
