By 2028, Serbia needs to have enough power to be able to sell it, said the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.

While visiting the village of Seniste, he said that there was no greater interests for Serbia in terms of energy than the Reversible Hydro Power Plant Bistrica.

– Unless you have anything against it, that is our project number one and that is salvation for our country – Vucic told the residents of Seniste, which the gathered crowd agreed with.

The acting director of Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS), Milorad Grcic, said that it would “be realistic” for the hydro power plant to be connected to the network in 2025.

Vucic also said that the HPP Bistrica was the most important and that it would boost the entire area. He added that it entailed a great deal of money and that it was a big investment.
