The four-day 29th Kopaonik Business Forum will be held from March 6 to 9, and, traditionally, on the first day, the attendees will be addressed by the minister of finance of Serbia, Sinisa Mali, whereas the closing speech, on the final day, will be made by the prime minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic.

The central topic will be “Serbia 2030: Agenda of Sustainable Development”, and the program envisages 31 panel discussions about the current issues in the fields of social and economic development, education, healthcare, social responsibility, sustainability and digitalization.

This largest economic event in the country will host three special guests, one of whom is academy member, professor and president of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Vladimir Kostic, who will point to the key factors of the future development of Serbia.

Also, as guests at the forum, other speakers also include a member of the Club of Rome, Carlos Alvarez Pereira, who will talk about the world after COVID-19, as well as professor, researcher and world-renowned author Branko Milanovic, who will provide an overview of the global economic inequality.

The organizer of the forum is the Serbian Association of Economists, in partnership with Mastercard.

The forum acts as an interactive platform for exchanging opinions, a well-argued, constructive discussion, with a look into the key reform challenges from the political, business and economic angles.

The upcoming event is even more important, because it will be a place where the results of the economic policy of our country and progress in social development in the extremely complex time of the COVID-19 pandemic will be summed up.
