Slovenian Company GUMA S Planning Expansion of Production in Sombor and New Jobs
– GUMA S is a company which has, in the past years, applied for new jobs at the contest of the Provincial Secretariat, where funds of EUR 140,000 were received, that is, slightly over RSD 16 million, whereby we enabled the company, which employed 60 people at the moment, to secure an additional 35 employees, and now we can see that the company has exceeded that number – pointed out the provincial secretary for regional development, interregional cooperation and local self-government, Aleksandar Sofic.
GUMA S produces parts for the automotive industry, but also parts for washing machines and dryers, that is, home appliances.
He also said that the Secretariat continued the measure of the preparation of the project-technical documentation to the end of the quickest and most efficient development of industrial zones possible.
– In the upcoming period, the Provincial Secretariat will set aside RSD 300 million for infrastructure projects and the strengthening of the capacities of industrial zones, so that the towns and municipalities in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina would readily welcome the potential investors who are increasingly interested in investing in our province – Sofic noted.
He announced new contests for the next month and invited representatives of municipalities to take active part and apply for the funds which are available to them.
