Vucic Announces Withdrawal of Law on Expropriation – “We Are Looking for a Way to Repeal the Law in Line with the Constitution”
– Let those who think they know what it should look like agree about it in the future. It is up to us to see for the law to be excluded from the legal procedures and we are looking for a way to do so in line with the Constitution of Serbia – Vucic said.
When asked whether amendments to the part of the law which pertain to payment are being discussed and whether the market value will be paid only to those whose property is registered, Vucic said that they were not looking for such solutions, because, as he says, it is impossible to reach an agreement on those matters.
– How can we make payments for illegal facilities? We are not looking for such solutions, because it is impossible to reach an agreement on such matters. When the time comes in which impossible solutions have become normal, it is better not to talk about it – Vucic said and repeated that he would “present a solution by Thursday morning at the latest”.
