Beginning of 52nd International HVAC Congress – Focus on Renewable Energy Sources and Decarbonization
The organizer, the Serbia HVAC & R Society, decided for the 52nd HVAC gathering to be held in a hybrid form, with the maximum adherence to the proscribed safety measures for all participants.
The program will be held in conference halls of Hotel Holiday Inn, and the authors will be able to exhibit their works at the hall, through a computer (in real time), or they can send a recorded presentation. A special program is prepared for students, and the organizer’s National Student Tournament is held on Thursday, December 2, whereas the exhibit will be held at Belexpocentar, which is an integral part of the hotel building.
Some of the topics that will be discussed at forums and sessions within the congress concern green cities, the decarbonization of central heating and the use of renewable and waste heat, the improvement of energy efficiency in new cooling technologies suitable for the preservation of climate conditions, as well as refrigeration machines, equipment and HVAC systems.
Among the numerous exhibitors and participants in the congress are Energy Net, Interfrigo, Pezos Export-Import, Pipelife, Wilo, IMI, SOKO, Steelsoft, Danfoss, Grundfos, Delta Term, Doming...
As Sladjana Miskovic of Energy Net, one of the sponsors of the congress and the supporter of the 50th anniversary of the Serbia HVAC & R Society, told eKapija, the event is surprisingly well visited, considering the coronavirus situation.
– I would say that the fair is very well visited, as in all the past years, of course, with testing, Covid passes, masks and other safety measures. I believe that there are more than a hundred exhibitors, and this year’s congress will definitely focus on renewable energy sources. New technologies and decarbonization of the central heating system, especially in Serbia, are topics that will be discussed a lot – Miskovic says.
She notes that Energy Net has traditionally played the role of the supporter and sponsor of the congress since 2002, and this year, the company is also celebrating its 30th anniversary.
– At the fair, we are presenting our new business philosophy, “energy care”, which focuses on the end-user, to whom we offer full solutions in the home and business division. Also, in the upcoming period, we are entering the field of renewable energy sources, and the focus will be placed on solar energy – our interviewee says.
