The mayor of Nis, Dragana Sotirovski, and the representative of the consortium Alex Engineering & Construction, Aleksandar Obradovic, have signed the agreement on the construction of an aqua park in Niska Banja on an area of 5.4 hectares.

The future aqua park, according to the city’s website, will be able to take in 3,400 users at the same time and it will feature recreational pools, wave pools, a lazy river, water slides and a children’s playground. The indoor part will be operational for all 12 months of the year and feature a part for children, with attractions, a peaceful part, a spa center and a restaurant.

The deadline for the completion of the construction of the outdoor and indoor parts of the aqua park is three years. The preparatory works will begin by the end of the current year, as announced by representatives of the consortium Alex Engineering & Construction.

– The aqua park is the reasons why private investors are already becoming interested in building additional features in the area of the city municipality of Niska Banja. With the aqua park, Nis and Niska Banja will be in a prominent place on the tourist map of Serbia, but also a wider region – says the mayor of Nis.
