Government of Serbia Opens Contest for Selection of New Director of Srbijagas

The Government of Serbia has opened the contest for the selection of a new director of the public enterprise Srbijagas, and one of the conditions is that the candidate is not a member of a political party or that their function within a party’s organ has been put on hold.

According to the ad published in the Politika daily, the director is to be appointed for four years, and applications may be made within the next 30 days.

Other conditions include higher education, at last five years of working experience, of which at least three on jobs related to public enterprises, and the new director also needs to be familiar with the field of corporate management and have experience in organizing the work and running the operations.

Since 2008, the director of Srbijagas has been the vice president of the Socialist Party of Serbia, Dusan Bajatovic.
