That faster economic flows go through faster traffic routes has already been confirmed in Sabac. With the construction of the new bridge on the Sava, the highway to Ruma and the fast route to Loznica, the industrial zone along the right-hand river coast is increasingly attractive to investors.

The agreement was signed in May, and this October, on 10 hectares of the northwest industrial zone, the structures of the production facility are being raised. Next year, the Chinese company Minth is launching the production of battery casings for electric cars. They also plan to purchase another 10 hectares and a new hall.

– Primarily the position, the location of the city of Sabac, because it is very well connected with Belgrade and the rest of Serbia, the excellent infrastructure – said the PR manager of Minth, Goran Madzarevic.

The land of 300 hectares is fully equipped with the infrastructure, from power, through gas, to traffic routes. A total of 35 companies already operates in the biggest industrial zone in the region, and 65 parcels have been sold. The construction of the bridge and the new routes that pass through this zone drives the economy and the investments.

– This year, we signed agreements with five new investors in Sabac, which bought around 15 hectares of land in the northwest business zone in Sabac. Now we have nine active negotiations with foreign and local investors that are interested in purchasing 36 hectares – said the member of the city council in charge of the economy, Zivan Bajic.
