Tender for Preparation of Project-Technical Documentation of New Block of 350 MW at TPP Kostolac

A new block powered by lignite (brown coal), with a power of 350 MW, is to be built at the Thermal Power Plant Kostolac.

Elektroprivreda Srbije has just opened the tender for the preparation of the project-technical documentation for this project, which envisages the realization of the project in 14 phases.

The project includes the designing of the block itself, as well as the functional parts which pertain to the disposal and storage of ash, traffic routes and a cooling system using the water from the Danube.

The block will be highly-efficient, and the network output is expected to be 308 MW.

The tender is open until November 22.
