Milutin Mrkonjić announced big investments of Aeroinženjering, construction of “Mega city” in Belgrade

Company Aeroinženjering (part of Astra Simit) celebrated 41st year of existence. Director general of this company is now Milutin Mrkonjić. In the following 4 years this company will carry out works worth 4 billion USD for which it already signed contracts. The most interesting market is Russia, where this company already built facilities worth 2 billion USD and it signed contracts on future works worth 1.25 billion USD. The company will also build military facilities worth 600 million USD in Iran, as well as big apartment-business facility on the location of Belgrade’s Cotton Combine in Serbia. The land of 200,000 square meters is already owned by “Braća Karić” and the construction of facilities with apartments, trade centers, cinemas... will start in February 2006. The idea of Mega city came from the children from the Karić family. The architect who is also project coordinator at the moment is Zoran Mitić.
