Niska Banja Institute to Renovate Old Turkish Bath – Pool Ceramics Mosaic Modeled After Original One and Wellness Center
According to the tender, the plan is to adapt the facility of the Old Turkish Bath and the octagonal pool no. 3, for the purpose of increasing the quality of the service.
This ground-floor facility was built in the late 19th or the early 20th century, and it was later reconstructed on the remains of the Turkish bath.
The existing pool, with the new design, is to be fully retained, except that the ceramics will be replaced with a new ceramics mosaic modeled after the original one, and the demolition of the existing partition between the two zones of the facility will form a wellness center.
Three massage rooms, a salt room and a sauna will be formed in the zone of the existing offices, and additional bathrooms will also be made. The project envisages the installation of console toilet bowls with built-in water tanks, sinks made of faience and single-lever taps. Individual electric water heaters are planned as well.
The space will get LED lighting.
Accompanying construction works are also plan, in the sense of the repair of wall and floor coverings in the pool room.
The tender expires on November 8.
