Maximum Price of Wheat as in August 2012: RSD 28.5

Last week, the prices of all primary agricultural products grew, and the price of wheat grew the most, by 6.68%, announced the Commodities Exchange.

With a price of RSD 28.5 without the VAT at the FCA parity for one kilogram, the wheat reached its price maximum in the current economic year, that is, since the harvest. An increase this big was last recorded in August 2012.

There was an increased demand for corn last week, and the contracts were signed in the price range of RSD 25 to RSD 26.2 per kilogram without the VAT. The weighted price amounted to RSD 25.85 per kilogram without the VAT, which is an increase of 2.19%.

The sales and purchase agreements on soy were signed in the price rage of RSD 76 to RSD 77 per kilogram without the VAT. The average trading price of this oil plant was RSD 76.63 per kilogram without the VAT, an increase of 0.94%.


Sunflower was traded at the price of RSD 59.5 to RSD 59.7 per kilogram without the VAT, and the price is higher by 0.22% compared to the previous week.

The overall trading at the Commodities Exchange amounted to 5,218 tons, which is an increase by 137%, whereas the financial value amounted to RSD 186.1 million.
