Serbian-Russian Business Forum on October 4-5 in Belgrade – More Than 100 Biggest Companies Participating
The gathering, which is held at the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, will be opened on Monday, October 4, at 10 AM, and the attendees will be addressed by minister Nenad Popovic, who is also the chairman of the Mixed Committee for Cooperation with Russia, the CEO of the Russian Export Center, Veronika Nikishina, the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Marko Cadez, and the ambassador of Russia to Serbia, Aleksandr Botsan-Kharchenko.
On the first day of the forum, the most successful Serbian and Russian companies in the fields of agriculture, food industry, mechanical engineering, construction, automotive industry, oil and gas sector, electrical energy, production of medical equipment and medicines, recycling, production of textile, toys, plastic, paper and cardboard packaging, commerce and distribution, as well as IT, innovations and high technology, will present themselves.
On the second day, representatives of Russian companies will be presented with the possibilities of investing in Serbia, especially the development of economic cooperation of Russian regions with the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, as well as the cities of Belgrade, Novi Sad and Nis.
On that occasion, Popovic pointed out that the trade between Serbia and Russia was constantly on the rise, but that there was still plenty of room for improving the trade cooperation in many areas.
He added that, during the Serbian-Russian Business Forum, the possibility of creating joint Serbian-Russian companies will be especially promoted.
The two-day forum is jointly organized by the Government of Serbia, the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia and the Russian Export Center.
