Exports of Serbia Increase by 28.5%, and Imports by 23.7%

The overall external trade in the Republic of Serbia for the period January – August 2021 increased 28.5% compared to the same period last year to EUR 31.57 billion, with the exports also recording a growth of 28.5%, and the imports of 23.7%.

The value of exports amounted to EUR 13.66 billion, whereas the value of imports amounted to EUR 17.91 billion, announced the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

The deficit amounted to EUR 4.24 billion, which was the increase of 10.5% compared to the same period last year.

The export-import ratio equaled 76.3% and was higher if compared to the same period last year when it was 73.5%.
