The Municipality of Mionica, with the support of the Government of Serbia, is beginning the construction of an industrial zone on nearly 9 hectares in Radobic. The works are expected to start in 15 days, and there are already negotiations with five investors. For the realization of this project, the Ministry of Economy has set aside RSD 24.1 million, whereas the Municipality of Mionica will participate with RSD 4.8 million. The first phase of the works, which entail the construction of an access traffic route with the necessary utility infrastructure, will be completed with a sum of RSD 28.9 million.
– The industrial zone in Radobic is one of the most important projects we’ve launched. Through new investments, we will secure the conditions for the economic growth. What’s most important, new jobs will be created in our municipality. We have halved the unemployment. In 2017, we had 624 unemployed persons, now we have around 300. That indicates that we are on the right path. Our aim is to employ all people who want to work. The industrial zone in Radobic is a historic investment for our area – said Boban Jankovic, the president of the Municipality of Mionica, as announced on the official municipal portal.
The signing of the agreement on the execution of the works by the construction company Ingrap-Omni from Belgrade is in progress.
