Here’s What the New Depot of the National Library of Serbia Will Look Like – Seeking Construction Designer (PHOTO)
According to the tendering documentation, the project documentation needs to be prepared in line with the preliminary design authored by the professors Branislav Mitrovic and Dr Djordje Alfirevic.
The new depot will occupy several underground levels, which will be intended for the storage of catalog items.
It is planned in the southwest section of the complex of the National Library of Serbia, so that the roof surfaces and the access areas of the new features retain the purpose of a public, pedestrian and green space.
The facility is envisaged as a single form-functional unit, which will be physically connected to the existing depot.
The new facility will have a multifunctional exhibition space meant for the collection of the National Library of Serbia and the literary activities in general, as well as office and storage spaces – depots and other technical rooms.
The tender is open until October 25.
