Nine million euros for roads reconstruction in Montenegro

European investment bank (EIB) approved 9 million euros worth of credit for roads and bridges reconstruction in Montenegro. The minister of international economic affairs of Serbia and Montenegro Predrag Ivanovic said that the payment interval of the credit is twenty years with postponed payment of five years and with fluctuating rate of interest.

The credit is the part of the road network reconstruction the total value of which is 79 million euros. The EIB will invest 39 million euros. That money will be used to reconstruct critical parts of the road network including roads from Podgorica to Cetinje and Petrovac. As it is announced, the Government of Montenegro will sign another contract with EIB in April. The value of this contract is between seven and nine million euros. During the past several year Montenegro was approved 81 million euros of credit by EIB.
