Fiscal data published for 7 months of the current year - Budget deficit recorded, public debt at 55% of GDP

Serbia's budget deficit for the seven months of this year amounted to 39.6 billion dinars due to revenues being 844.8 billion and expenditures 884.4 billion dinars, the Ministry of Finance announced.

Serbia's public debt at the end of July this year amounted to 28.36 billion euros, which accounted for 55.2% of gross domestic product (GDP), according to a report by the finance ministry.

At the end of June, public debt was EUR 28.26 billion, or 55% of GDP.

At the end of last year, Serbia's public debt amounted to EUR 26.66 billion, or 57.4% of GDP.
