Sputnik V Produced at Torlak Approved for Use
Popovic said on RTS that the Gamaleya Institute had approved the use of vaccines from Torlak the night before and that they were of the exact same quality as those produced in Russia, as announced on the website of the Government of Serbia.
He explained that 18 parameters had been controlled on 960 samples in line with the highest global standards and that they had all had excellent results and noted that the vaccines were ready for use.
– We have 550,000 doses – 275,000 components 1 and 275,000 components 2, ready for use here in Serbia, which were produced in Serbia – the minister pointed out and added that “the decision on the potential export will be reached by the Government of Serbia and president Aleksandar Vucic”.
According to him, there needs to be an agreement with the Russian partners as to an authorization for the export, so as to avoid a simultaneous export to the same markets by both sides.
