Srbolek and MK-Commerce majority owners of Menta from Padej
The owner of Srbolek, Jovica Stefanovic Nini, a businessman from Nis, and the owner of MK-Commerce, Miodrag Kostic, have bought on the Belgrade stock exchange a 51 percent of the shares (25.5% each) of Menta from Padej, a company for production of medical and spice herbs and balms, for a total of 18.4 millions dinars. The former owner of Menta was the Republican bureau for health insurance, and the debts of the factory with interest rates are 3.5 millions euros.
The director of Menta, Tihomir Panic, says that the factory is at the moment doing business with a third of its capacity, and if the business would be doing up to a 100 percent, the annual profit could reach 8 millions euros.
