Slow Road – App for Longer Trips, Whose Purpose is Pleasure
To the end of providing unique traveling experiences and helping tourists travel safely during the pandemic, the programmers used the data from various points of interest and social networks to form 50 routes for crossing the most famous destination in South Korea, the Jeju Island.
The Jeju Island is one of the most picturesque spots in South Korea and has been recognized by the UNESCO. With the beginning of the pandemic, the island became an even more popular destination for South Koreans, because traveling abroad became very difficult. Around 87% of those who visit Jeju tour the island by car, and an increasing number of safety-conscious tourists prefer socially-distanced travel options involving their own cars.
Slow Road recommends a total of 50 different routes which connect popular attractions will less famous picturesque places in seven different regions, each with their own theme evocative of the island’s beauty.
The tourists may access the application which leads them to a map on the Slow Road web page, featuring all the highlights and the roads that should be traveled, including an additional advantage of showing less busy roads. Most frequently, these are the less-traveled roads, those where a trip takes a longer time than usual, so that the pleasure would be more well-rounded.
The traveling part is an integral part of your vacation, which begins as soon as you set off on your trip and it should be viewed that way. Sometimes you need to travel an hour more so that your pleasure would last longer.
