University in Belgrade No Longer Among Top 500 on Shanghai List

The University in Belgrade has dropped from the top 500 list of the best universities in this year’s Shanghai List ranking. For the first time since it appeared on the list (in 2012), it is in the group between the 501st and 600th spots.

The position of the University of Belgrade has shifted since 2012.

Between 2013 and 2015, it placed between the 301st and 400th spots, and in 2016 and 2017, it rose to the top 300. In 2018, the university once again placed between the 301st and 400th spots, and in 2019 and 2020, it dropped to the category between the 401st and 500th spots.
