Two Companies Interested in Building Novi Pazar-Raska Main Road – Bids Made by Turkish Tasyapi and Novi Pazar Put

Two bids were sent in response to the public invitation for the reconstruction of the Novi Pazar-Raska main road, it was said today to the Sto Plus radio station by the PE Roads of Serbia. The interested bidders are the Turkish company Tasyapi, whose offer amounts to RSD 2.6 billion (EUR 22.4 million), without the VAT, and Novi Pazar Put, whose offer amounts to RSD 1.9 billion (EUR 16.7 million).

– The evaluation of the bids is in progress, in line with the procedure proscribed by international finance institutions, and, once reached, the decision will be announced publicly – said the PE Roads of Serbia.

The works on the reconstruction of this road, 17.9 kilometers long, should take 16 months, and they will encompass the removal and demolition of damaged structures, curbs and lanes, the preparation of the base layer and the application of new asphalt layers, along with the removal of telecommunications and optical installations.


The contractor is also expected to complete the reconstruction of the bridges, the irrigation system, to set up the flanks, LED lighting, new traffic signs, support walls and to also carry out all the other works defined by the main project.

The works will be financed with the proceeds from the loan of the European Investment Bank and the Serbian state budget.
