Novaston Platform Continues Developing Concepts of Retail Parks – First One in Pirot Soon
– PULS SHOPPING PARK Pirot will encompass retail space of around 8,000 square meters and more than 100 parking spaces. It will have an excellent offer of local and international brands with a large store chain Lidl in close proximity to the retail park, so the wide choice will enable an unforgettable shopping experience to the consumers. Our leasing team worked on leasing the outlets, was in charge of communication and negotiations with the tenants, the signing of the agreement on the lease of outlets. We managed to bring over famous national and international brands to our part of the country. After we open the park, we will manage the process of following the operations of the tenants and their further needs, the coordination with the tenants on a daily level, which will certainly be a challenge for us all, considering the special characteristics of each city, in this case Pirot – pointed out Olga Vlahovic, the leasing manager of Novaston.
– The entire technical team was in charge of project management from the very beginning, as well as the development of the conceptual design, the proposition of technical solutions based on the previous experiences of working with tenants, the defining of the implementation model and the delineation of the shell & core scope and the fit-out phase, the defining of the time plan of the realization of the project, the monitoring of the execution of the works relative to the defined deadlines and budgets, the communication with the competent institution in the process, the organization of professional supervision and, in the next phases, the organization of the technical acceptance and obtaining of the exploitation permit. Parallel with the entire process, the coordination with the tenants was done as well, which entailed the forming of initial bases for the agreeing and preparation of the projects, the coordination between the tenants and the team in charge of the designing and construction of the facility and the organization of the handing over of the outlet – explains Jelena Jolovic, the project manager at Novaston Project Management.
The new outdoor shopping center in Pirot will be another indicator that the retail sector, although one of the first to be affected by the pandemic, has shown great flexibility and resilience. In Serbia, it is precisely these outdoor shopping centers that worked most of the time in line with the measures, unlike the indoor ones, which had to close or implement restrictions for the visitors. The main characteristics of the flexibility of operations in the conditions of the pandemic were the quick responses to the demands of the tenants as the main partners in the operations of the investment real estate sector, as well as concrete goals, which preserved the long-term business operations.
