Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Serbia Demands Minimum Wage of RSD 40,000

As Vukovic pointed out, SSSS has launched a campaign called “Raise the Minimum Wage”, and the starting position of the union during the negotiations will be a minimum wage of RSD 40,000.
– The negotiations of the representative trade unions, the Serbian Association of Employers and the Government of the Republic of Serbia about the minimum wage for 2022 will begin in mid-August. Our position is that the minimum wage must be equalized with the minimal consumer basket. The content of the minimal consumer basket itself cannot secure the existence of a family of three. We are sorry that in the past years the minimum wage has not been set by agreement, but by unilateral government decision – Dusko Vukovic said.
