Italian Euroin to Expand Production Capacities in Kula – Construction of New Footwear Production Facility Worth RSD 210 Million to Begin, Jobs for Another 80 Workers
According to Vladan Krtolica, the head of the production facility in Kula, around RSD 210 million will be invested in the construction, which is supposed to start soon, and half the amount was provided by the Development Fund.
– The new facility, which is in fact the continuation of our investment in Kula, which we are carrying out in three phases, will have a production area of 2,600 m2. The plan is for this second of the three facilities planned in Kula to be completed in six months and we have already hired around ten workers, and the plan is to employ a total of 80 at the new facility – Krtolica says for eKapija.
Two new production lines will be installed at the new facility, our interviewee says, so there will be a total of five in the entire factory, and the production capacities will increase by at least 30%.
Krtolica reminds that, in addition to Kula, Euroin, which produces upper footwear parts for the Italian company Marco Shoes, has facilities in Ugrinovci, Kosjeric and Feketic.
– We also plan new employments at these factories and bringing back the operations to the pre-corona levels – eKapija’s interviewee reveals.
