The tendering procedure for the construction of a sewer system on the left coast of the Danube, in the Belgrade municipality of Palilula, should open on October 1. That is the estimated date of the opening of the procurement worth EUR 53.25 million (without the VAT), according to the prior information notice published by the EU Delegation to Serbia and the Belgrade Land Development Public Agency (Beoland) as the procuring entities.

According to the notice, the project aims to improve the services of waste water treatment for the currently insufficiently supplied populace on the left coast on the Danube in Palilula.

They remind that the City of Belgrade has signed the agreement on the financing of the designing, construction and supervision over the project of the sewer system Belgrade-Palilula with the European Investment Bank and add that the city will realize a range of agreements through the unit for the implementation of projects within Beoland.

The opening of international tenders for the procurement of two contracts on the execution of works is planned, the first one pertaining to the designing and construction of primary collectors, pumping stations, secondary sewer network (gravitational and vacuum networks) and a facility for waste water treatment in Krnjaca (Phase 1).
