BiH Meets Final Requirement for Membership in World Trade Organization
He added that the adoption of the Decision on the Quality of Liquid Fuels was the final requirement that BiH had to meet in order to become a full member of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
– The decision was not harmonized between the two entities, which prevented it from being adopted at the Council of Minister of BiH. There were some obstacles between FBiH and RS regarding the manner of the adoption of the decisions and the quality of liquid fuels in the BiH market – Dzindic pointed out.
According to him, the authorization of the Government of FBiH has already been forwarded to the minister of external trade and economic relations of BiH, Stasa Kosarac.
– He will forward it to the European Energy Community, but the decision was prepared in line with their recommendations. Following that, it will become final, thereby removing the last obstacle to BiH’s membership in the WTO. We don’t need to emphasize the benefits of a full WTO membership – Dzindic said.
