Austria has included Serbia among the safe countries when it comes to the Covid-19 pandemic, which will facilitate travel to that state for Serbian nationals, and the decree comes into effect tomorrow.

In addition to Serbia, the following have been added to the safe list: USA, North Macedonia, Albania, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Residents from those areas will be able to enter Austria with a vaccination certificate, a negative test, or a doctor’s confirmation of being cured from Covid-19.

Since the implementation of the restrictive measures, the entrance of Serbian nationals in tourist capacity has not been possible. Only those with residency permits or special reasons could enter the country, first exclusively with a negative PCR test and a mandatory ten-day quarantine, and since recently without a quarantine if they are vaccinated.
