As the coronavirus infection numbers are dropping in Serbia, the number of those going back to their offices is growing, or at least many are eager to go back to the normal. As shown by the data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, working from home in the fourth quarter of 2020 accounted for 9.2%, which is 0.1 percentage points lower compared to Q3 2020 and 0.5 percentage points higher compared to the same period in 2019. Also, according to the trade unions’ estimates, around 100,000 employees work online here, whereas, in Germany, for example, as many as three fourths of all employees work from home.

We were forced to work from home due to the circumstances. Whereas many noticed that this kind of work suited them, that the productivity did not go down, there are those who want to go back to traditional work and socializing with their colleagues, and one statistic from 2020 showed that it’s about 40% of the subjects.

In order for both sides to be satisfied, employers are looking for alternative solutions. Working from home is combined with going to the office, the number of employees in a single place is reduced, new programs and tools are being introduced that make the functioning easier. Due to the financial insecurity, many have decided to move out of their offices, to cancel the lease and to seek a way to save in the crisis period.

Functionality and flexibility – two paradigms of alternative solutions

One of the solutions that are functional and flexible are offices and co-working spaces, which can be adapted as needed at any moment. Work Space One is one such home of renowned companies, located in New Belgrade, the heart of the business world in the capital of Serbia.

You can pick private offices for your employees, which are modern and designed for at least two persons, but also for more than 10 persons. This is an ideal way to feel the pulse of your employees, to see how good they feel about going back to the office, and to enable them to feel safe in a flexible area. What’s certainly missing from working from home is comfort, and in these offices, this is solved through ergonomic desks and chairs. Of course, there are no problems with the internet connection or additional costs, because fast internet is available here.

Co-working space is ideal if you want your team in an “open” space, on certain days of the week or the month. You can choose a “hot desk”, that is, the possibility of having employees change desks as they please, but also a “dedicated desk”, if you want everyone to have their place. This kind of space is ideal for a reunion, in order to see what the mood is like among the colleagues, what the working atmosphere is like, and it allows you to choose the right kind of an office.

Feel at home

What employers could face is fear in some employees, but also the lack of desire to give up on the comfort of one’s own home. Work Space One has a solution for that as well, because the space features warm colors, it is pleasant to stay in, each office and co-working space is filled with natural daylight, and there are also comfortable sofas for resting and a space for dining and having a coffee or a tea. There’s also a small, green oasis, that is, a garden, as well as phone booths, if you need some privacy.

Boost your image

The location of Work Space One, as well as the look of the building itself, will certainly additionally solidify the company’s image and support it in the post-Covid period. With the existing and future business partners, you can make deals in one of the three meeting rooms, where you can expert comfort, but also state-of-the-art equipment.

Bring only your laptop

Going back to the office is certainly not easy – you need to consider the lease, but also the regular costs, and then also the maintenance costs, the costs of equipping the kitchen, procuring refreshments and disinfection products. Keep in mind that many employees will opt to come to work by car rather than using public transportation, so you also need to provide a sufficient number of parking spaces. Also, if there is no physical security, you should certainly have technical security.

Why would you worry about all this at the time you need to deal with the recovery of your company and your future plans? Work Space One worries instead of you. It is enough to visit https://wspaceone.com/ and learn how to facilitate going back to the office for yourself and your employees. You only need a laptop to create new strategies. Good luck!
