Products made by Bambi are soon to become available at Coca-Cola’s cafes worldwide, as announced recently by the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS), Marko Cadez, during his visit to the company’s production facilities in Pozarevac. Cadez emphasized that a new facility and production line for the production of the Plazma cookie products were to be built at Bambi and that the investment was worth over EUR 12 million.

– It is fantastic to come to a company which, in a year that has been anything but easy, has managed to increase its exports by 15%. It is fantastic to come to the company that is a leader in Serbia and the region alike and see that it is slowly turning into a world leader as part of the Coca-Cola Hellenic Group. This is the largest investment of the Coca-Cola Hellenic Group ever. In September, the tenth production facility for the Bambi products will be put into operation – said Cadez, as announced on the CCIS website.

The president of the CCIS said that the group had enabled Bambi to expand its business to new markets and grow from a regional leader to a world leader.

Cadez announced that Bambi would enter the project of dual education in 2022 and invited parents and children to apply for the two new profiles at the high school in Pozarevac, namely, a food industry operator and a food technician.

The president of the CCIS announced that the Bambi products would soon get the “Cuvarkuca” tag as part of the CCIS project “Created in Serbia”.

Cadez visited the modern line for the production of Bambi’s famous brands and especially emphasized how proud he was to see the robotics solutions designed by young experts from Serbia.

The general manager of Coca-Cola Hellenic Serbia and Montenegro, Svetislav Atanasov, said that Bambi, along with Coca-Cola, whose part it has become, invested substantial funds in the production and new employments. He said that, with the acquisition of Bambi, they participated with 0.6% in the GDP of Serbia.

The general manager of Bambi, Dragan Stajkovic, announced the construction of a development center, which will enable quality education for high school and faculty students and interns.

The mayor of Pozarevac, Sasa Pavlovic, pointed to the importance of Bambi for the local community and employment, but also the entire economic growth of Serbia.

The Bambi concern has around 800 employees in Pozarevac and Belgrade, produces around 33,500 tons of cookies a year, exports to 22 world markets, mostly to the region, but there’s also a plan to expand to the markets of Switzerland, Austria, Romania and Hungary.
