Hemofarm Announces Investments Worth EUR 40 Million in Facilities and Equipment in the Region

Hemofarm has announced investments of EUR 40 million this year in facilities, new equipment and implementation of the latest standards in the pharmaceutical industry, as announced by this company, which is celebrating its 61st anniversary.

This year’s plan envisages investments in Hemofarm’s operation in Serbia (facilities in Vrsac and Sabac) of around EUR 28 million and in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Hemofarm Banjaluka) of nearly 10 million, whereas EUR 1.5 million will be put into the further enhancement of the operations of the company in Montenegro (Hemomont in Podgorica), the company’s press release says and adds that investments are also planned in the procurement of new equipment for the laboratory in Timisoara which operates as part of Hemofarm Group and which certifies drugs which are exported to EU states.


Since 2006, Hemofarm has been a member of Stada Group, which has since then invested around EUR 300 million in the modernization of Hemofarm’s facilities, equipment and new facilities, the press release reminds.
