For the development of Bor and Majdanpek EUR 2.5 million credit line from Opportunity bank

Credit Line from Opportunity Bank (OBS) worth EUR 2.5 million, is intended for the development and improvement of performance of small and medium enterprises that have emerged from the RTB Bor, as well as small rural households and micro and small enterprises in municipalities of Bor and Majdanpek.

Funds for the specific purpose loansfor liquidity, purchase of equipment and assets, are provided through the project "Regional development of Bor", which is realized in cooperation of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the World Bank, and will be available in the new office in OBS Zajecar. Loan amount is up to € 10,000 for micro-loans, or up to 50,000 euros for loans to small and medium enterprises, with a repayment period 3-36 months.

- Employed in Zajecar office will be continuously present in Bor and Majdanpek to inform residents about the offer, to perform all banking transactions on the spot and visit the clients after payment of the loan - said Vladimir Vukotic, Executive Board member responsible for OBS business development and he added that "Field mode is common for loan officers of OBS" which is a big advantage for customers because they leave more time for business, and the bank has insight not only in business but also family and private client opportunities, which is specificity of the methodology applied by microcrediting".
