Privatization of Institute for Water Management Jaroslav Cerni Being Prepared – Looking for Interested Investors

The Ministry of Economy has opened the public invitation for letters of interest for the privatization of the Institute for Water Management Jaroslav Cerni. The state is the owner of 92% of the capital of the institute, which as of the end of 2019, was worth RSD 189.3 million.

A letter of interest should contain the basic data on the interested investor, the expression of interest in taking part in the privatization procedure in line with the Law on Privatization and a proposition of an indicative price, an investment program, a framework business plan and the number of employees that the investor is ready to employ permanently. The form of the letter of interest can be found on the website of the ministry.


As said in the public invitation, at the end of 2019, the institute had RSD 155.4 million in standing assets, RSD 246.2 million in working assets, whereas the total assets amounted to RSD 412.8 million.

Letters of interest may be sent by June 21, 2021.
