The Norwegian company NBT, which has experience with wind farm projects in its country, Ukraine and China, is very interested in investing in Serbia, stated the vice president of the company, Magnus Johansen.

At a meeting with Serbian Energy Minister Zorana Mihajlovic, he said that NBT had already joined the wind farm projects initiated by Windvision.

The minister reminded that Serbia had adopted a new legal framework in the field of energy, including the first special Law on the Use of Renewable Energy Sources and emphasized that the country wanted to attract quality investments in that field.

Norwegian Ambassador to Serbia Jorn Gjelstad, who also attended the meeting, said that he hoped that Norway and experienced Norwegian companies would increase their presence in Serbia and have an even more important role in the development and modernization of the energy sector in Serbia, the ministry announced on its website.
