The Government of Montenegro has adopted the health protocols for the upcoming summer season, as announced by the minister of economic development, Jakov Milatovic, at a press conference. As he said, the aim of the protocol is to maintain the favorable epidemiological situation.

The health protocols envisage for all hotel managers to leave 10% of the accommodation capacities for potential COVID-positive patients.

Montenegrin Health Minister Jelena Borovinic Bojovic said that the government had made the decision for tourists infected with the coronavirus to be treated at the expense of the state during their stay in Montenegro. Also, if a PCR test is required for the tourists’ return to their countries, they will be able to test for free in Montenegro, at the Public Health Institute or at private laboratories, if they want to.
