Aqua Park in Jagodina will get another water attraction next season. The works on expansion of the tourist complex have already commenced, and the whole park, which occupies about 3 hectares of land, will be 40 ares larger.
As Aqua Park Director Bojan Veljkovic explained for eKapija, the land is being prepared for construction of a new, seventh swimming pool, which will be situated on the land near the carting track.
- This pool will be for non-swimmers and it will have an extreme water slide. We expect the works to be finished by the end of 2010 - said Veljković.
Our interlocutor points out that they are extremely satisfied with the season and the number of visitors, which is the reason why they decided to introduce new contents.
Aqua Park in Jagodina is situated in the most beautiful part of the city, within sports-tourist complex Djurdjevo Brdo. It comprises 6 swimming pools for sports and recreation activities with water attractions for kids and a water slide system about 400 meters long.
The Olympic pool is equipped for swimming and water polo competitions in accordance with FINA regulations.
