The Montenegrin Civil Aviation Agency (ACV) has issued, according to the findings of the Vijesti daily, an air operator’s certificate (AOC) to the new national airline carrier ToMontenegro.

ToMontenegro has thereby made the first important administrative-legal step toward its first flights, which will be carried out under the new Air Montenegro brand.

What follows is to obtain the operating license, which is a precondition for the company to begin its commercial transport activities.

The colors and the logo of Air Montenegro are still being kept secret.

According to Vijesti’s unofficial findings, if everything goes as planned, the first operating aircraft of Air Montenegro might start flying the regular routes from Podgorica and Tivat to Belgrade by the end of this month.
